Danville, Virginia is a semi-rural city located in the Piedmont region of south-central Virginia. Local attractions include the Carrington Pavilion, the Danville Science Center, the Danville Museum of Fine Arts & History, the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research, the Community Market at the Crossing of the Dan, Danville Otterbots, Virginia International Raceway, Caesars Virginia, and Martinsville Speedway. Danville, VA is enjoying an economic rebirth from a long tradition of agriculture and manufacturing with expanding higher educational institutes, industry, and internet-based businesses.
